Personal Life and Distinctions
Blake is the second sibling of the five off springs of Warren Goldring and Barbara Goldring. The family lived in Toronto, Canada where his early academic proficiency was noticed. His early education was from Saint Andrews Junior High School and Yorks Mill Collegiate Institute. He then pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at University of Toronto under its Victoria College. In his fourth year at the University the AIESEC, an organization of Commerce and Economics students, named him its national vice president. He then transferred to McGill University in order to perform his duties to the organization. He finished his undergraduate studies at the said university and graduated with honors. He the pursued his Master of Business Administration at the French INSEAD. He has become a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian bankers. He was also granted a designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst and has received an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the Royal Military Academy.
Mister Goldring started his career as a humble banker in Toronto working for the Bank of Montreal. For five year of his employment in the said bank, he handled international banking transactions and was later transferred to corporate banking. After that, he pursued a career elsewhere.
He later transferred to AGF where blake goldring first became an analyst handling the companies Japan-based portfolio. He has participated in the company’s effort to expand its operation all over the world. Due to his contributions to the company, he received promotions and he has taken on many roles in the company like the following
- Head of Sales and Marketing
- President and Chief Operating Officer
- Chief Executive Officer
Under his guidance and leadership the AGF Company has taken over some other investment companies. His leadership has also allowed the company to extend its operations and expand it service portfolio.
